Interoperability Enables Better Collaboration
With SimOffice, engineers can directly import and export 3D solid models from a variety of popular CAD systems, including: CATIA, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, and any software using Parasolids or ACIS geometry. SimOffice also supports file exchange with other finite element analysis products to enable collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organisation and the supply chain. SimOffice is fully compatible with Patran - the leading pre- and post-processors for CAE simulation - and supports existing automation scripts developed in Patran Command Language (PCL) to leverage the knowledge of expert analysts.

SimOffice is powered by the MD Nastran solver, the industry standard for finite element analysis in automotive, aerospace, and other manufacturing industries. MD Nastran model compatibility empowers engineers working in complex supply chains to share models and data across their own enterprise and with other suppliers and OEMs.  SimOffice's connectivity with Microsoft Windows also provides model and document sharing with SharePoint Services, and real-time collaboration using Microsoft Groove.
